New South Wales is the home to Australia’s largest and most visited city – Sydney. Here visitors will find many of the most iconic Australian attractions, including of course both Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.
Aside from the endless attractions Sydney has to offer, New South Wales also has plenty on offer in the cities of Newcastle and Wollongong as well as coastal towns such as Coffs Harbour, Byron Bay and Port Macquarie. Surfers, backpackers and families flock to many of these coastal towns year-round, which means that there is something going on in pretty much any season of the year. For those not so keen on the city, there are plenty of chances to escape the hustle and bustle of the city in New South Wales. There are heaps of outdoor opportunities in the Great Dividing Range and Snowy Mountains, the 780 National Parks across the state, as well as the many beaches along the Central Coast, North Coast and Sapphire Coast.
